Student Support Services Officers

Somers Primary School has access to Student Support Services Officers. These personnel assess students who are identified as having speech disorders or may require psychological testing. This testing is done on school premises and requires parent consent. A social worker is also available for students and their families when issues arise that require guidance and support. Once again parent consent is required before this service can be put in place.
