Swimming

At the end of the year, students in Prep to 4 will attend swimming lessons at Pelican Park Hastings or Crib Point Pool. The lessons form a major part of the Physical Education Program. Swimming days will be announced closer to the time and are held during third or fourth term. A note would be appreciated if your child were unable to attend a swimming session. While there is teaching on developing appropriate stroke technique, the emphasis is also to stress water safety. The program for the older students has a stronger emphasis on water safety in a beach environment. Years 5 and 6 will be involved with a water safety program through their camp in Term 4 of each year.
